Secret Link Cloaker

Each week I evaluate a different product or service to help you separate the gems from the junk. This week I'm reviewing…

"Secret Link Cloaker"

As many of you know, I make a very nice living from building niche affiliate websites. And, many of those websites are created with 'datafeeds.'

Datafeeds are spreadsheets that contain a company's entire product line, along with details, prices and — of course — MY affiliate links to each of the products.

Many datafeeds contain hundreds (sometimes thousands) of products…each with its own unique affiliate link.

Although it's wise to hide ("cloak") the affiliate links on your site to protect your affiliate commissions from theft, until now I haven't made any attempt to hide the affiliate links on my niche affiliate sites because it would take WEEKS to cloak all those links!

Recently, however, it's become even MORE important to cloak affiliate links on your site:

The Search Engines are starting to penalize websites that have a large number of affiliate links to other sites.

Now, I think this is kinda goofy since it's pretty obvious ANYONE with a business website will have affiliate links to other products on other sites. But, I don't make the rules…I just have to find a way to play by them and still make money.

One day, Frank Sousa (the creator of "Secret Money Generator") and I and were brainstorming solutions to this problem,
and Frank came up with the idea for "Secret Link Cloaker."

What does "Secret Link Cloaker" do?

In just seconds, "Secret Link Cloaker" will mask EVERY URL in an entire datafeed!

This provides you with three very important benefits:

  1. Protects your website from search engine penalties.
  2. Protects your affiliate commissions from scammers and thieves.
  3. Helps increase page rank by increasing the keyword density of your webpages.

If you only have a handful of affiliate links on your website, then you can cloak them by hand. But, if you're building websites with a large number of affiliate links like I am, then you really need to Click Here to Check Out "Secret Link Cloaker".

A blog is basically a website for dummies.

What I mean by that is…you don't have to know a lick of HTML to use a blog!

You just type in whatever you want to write in the user interface (much like creating a Word or text document), click the "publish" button, and voila! You have added content to your website!

Pretty easy, huh?

So, I know the question you're dying to ask is, "Holly, since you know HTML, why do you need a blog?"

Well, the truth is, this blog has just saved me a TON of time.

Normally, to send my newsletter, here's what I have to do…

  1. Write a text message
  2. Format the text message so it looks right in your email reader
  3. Send you the text message (and pray it gets through the spam filters!)
  4. RE-format the text message in HTML
  5. Load the HTML page into my website
  6. Send a 2nd email letting you know my newsletter is online (in case the first version was lost in cyberspace)

Whew! And, since I like to write to you personally (instead of outsourcing it to a ghostwriter), this takes up a large chunk of my day.

Now that I have a blog, all I had to do to send you this message is:

  1. Write a message in the user-friendly interface
  2. Click "publish" to post it to my blog
  3. Email you to let you know I've added something new to my blog

And, I can write anything I want…

I can use all sorts of "red flag" words that would keep my newsletter from getting to you if I sent it by email.

Words like:

  • free - "feel free to give me a call"
  • spam - "I will never spam you"
  • home business - "I teach people how to build a profitable home business"
  • make money - "Most people like to make money when they invest time in a business"
  • Etc.

Plus, you and I can now communicate more easily…

  • If you have a comment or a question about one of my articles, all you have to do is click on the "comment" link at the bottom of the article and post your comment/question. And, I can even reply to you via the blog!

Plus, you can read my reply (or other people's comments) by clicking on the "comment" link at the bottom of the article.

  • And, if you want to submit a question about building your business or internet marketing, you can just click on the "Ask Your Question" link at the top of my blog, fill out the form, and your question will be answered indepth in a future post.

As you can see, there a LOT of benefits to a blog.

I hope you will enjoy the 2-way communication that's now available to us, and look forward to getting to know you even better!

Till next time…

Running a successful business is hard work…or is it?

Over the next few weeks, I'm going to share with you THREE
of my personal secrets for:

  • Reducing my work hours, and

  • Increasing my profits.

Today, I'm going to talk about "Outsourcing."

You may have heard the term. Basically, it means hiring
someone else to do some of your work.

First of all, you want to avoid hiring "employees" as much
as possible. It is far cheaper, and less of a bookkeeping
hassle, to hire "independent contractors."

What's the difference?

  • With Employees:

    • YOU must pay matching social security and FICA.

    • YOU must withhold taxes.

    • YOU must provide employee benefits.

  • With Independent Contractors:

    • THEY pay double social security and FICA.

    • THEY are responsible for paying estimated taxes.

    • THEY receive no additional benefits beyond payment for
the task they were hired to perform.

…With independent contractors, all you do is (a) pay
them and, at the end of the year (b) provide them with a
1099 tax form.

Best of all…

You can easily find an experienced independent
contractor for a FRACTION of what you would pay an
employee!

The truth is, with so many people wanting to work from
home, there is never a shortage of qualified people to
choose from…for ANY task you desire.

To prove it, here is a short list of just some of the
tasks I have personally outsourced:

  • ghostwriting articles

  • ghostwriting books

  • website design

  • graphic design

  • software programming

  • email customer service

  • phone customer service

There are many places you can find experienced people who
will work for amazingly low fees. One of my favorite
sources is eLance where independent
contractors will BID on your project, and YOU choose the
one you feel is best qualified to handle the task.

Using services like eLance is very simple. You just:

  1. Sign up for a free account so you can outsource
    projects.

  2. Post a project you want independent contractors to bid
    on.

  3. Choose the bidder you want to work with.

…You don't even pay for the project until it is finished
to your satisfaction!

TIP: When you post a project, let bidders know that they
will need to supply you with samples of their work
so you don't have to hire someone "sight unseen."

By outsourcing tasks that can be done by others, your work
hours will be significantly reduced. And, you can focus
your time on tasks ONLY YOU can perform (in my case, an
example would be: coaching my students).

You'll also find that, by outsourcing, you'll have MUCH
more free time to enjoy. Plus, you'll have the freedom to
take time off without having to constantly check up on
your business.

Lastly, By outsourcing, you will be able to focus your time
on actions that INCREASE your profits…thereby earning
MORE while working less.

In Part 2 of this article series, I'll share my secret for
earning $1,000 (or MORE!) in just 10 minutes a day.

Till then…
